Babu Nair is the Founder of Financial Technology Frontiers, a North America-based FinTech media ecosystem designed to connect global players with North American markets and vice versa. With over two decades of experience as a pioneering community builder, innovator, and media strategist in the BFSI and FinTech sectors, Babu has played a foundational role in shaping thought leadership and engagement across the global financial services landscape.

Beginning his career at Express Computer (Indian Express Group), Babu went on to launch one of the world's first dedicated BFSI magazines in 2002, followed by the creation of India’s first BFSI Tech Innovation Awards and the first BFSI-focused video channel — now known as BankingFrontiers.live.

Babu’s expertise spans FinTech, insurance, capital markets, research, content creation, and startup acceleration. He currently leads initiatives such as SOFFT (Skills of the Future in Financial Technologies) and WIFFI (Women in Financial and Fintech Industry) to promote inclusive innovation and talent development.

As a mentor to startups and scale-ups and a frequent collaborator with accelerators, Babu is committed to empowering the next generation of FinTech innovators through strategic engagement, education, and ecosystem leadership.
