Chelsea Gillett is a Venture Investor at Luge Capital, where she leads fintech investment efforts across Alberta, Canada, and the U.S. With a strong track record in early-stage venture capital, Chelsea focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and supporting high-potential fintech startups that are redefining the financial landscape.

Prior to joining Luge in 2025, Chelsea was a Principal at The51, where she led due diligence and managed a portfolio of 30 companies. She worked hands-on with founders on fundraising strategy, business development, and governance, while contributing to investor education and co-investment programs.

Chelsea began her career in engineering and financial planning at Suncor and Petro-Canada, where she developed deep expertise in project management, capital resource planning, and business optimization. She holds an Executive MBA in Finance (Dean’s List) from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
