Omar El Kadi Janbeih is a faculty member at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) with a rich academic and professional background spanning Venezuela, the United States, and Canada. Originally from Maracaibo, Venezuela, Omar holds a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, an MBA in Finance and International Business from Oklahoma City University, and a PhD in Management from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín (URBE).

Omar’s career blends academic leadership and hands-on consulting. In Venezuela, he served as a consultant for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) while teaching graduate courses at URBE. He later led a multidisciplinary initiative to improve the university’s global ranking, and subsequently chaired two graduate departments: Managerial Marketing and Communications.

His passion for research, organizational change, and team leadership has guided both his academic and industry efforts. Since immigrating to Canada in 2018, Omar has worked as a financial advisor at one of Canada's top banks while continuing to teach online. Today, he is a full-time instructor at SAIT, delivering courses in business, organizational behavior, and productivity tools, and preparing students for Microsoft Office Specialist certifications.

Omar is known for his strong communication skills, cross-cultural leadership, and commitment to empowering students with both technical knowledge and real-world skills.
